It was developed with input from the USFS, TAMBA, Tahoe Fund, TRTA, CA State Parks, NV State Parks, the Washoe Tribe, and Achieve Tahoe. Trail alignments shown in this chapter are a ‘planning-level’ illustration of intended routes and provide a general depiction of where the trail will be located. Most of these projects are considered “programmed projects,” meaning the project has gone through, or is in the process of going through, the environmental review process with the appropriate land manager.
