The final raw data will be an “incision ratio”. This involves two measurements. 1) The top of the bank depth is the measurement from the deepest point in the channel to the top of the nearly-horizontal meadow or floodplain elevation. 2) The bankfull depth is the measurement from the deepest point in the channel to the top of the bankfull elevation. Top of the bank depth is then divided by the bankfull depth to get an incision ratio. Several of these measurements will be taken throughout the reach to obtain an “incision ratio” for the entire reach.IMPORTANT: This layer is being used as a repeat in Survey123.IMPORTANT: Survey active from May-August each year.
