These data represent near-shore fish habitat around Lake Tahoe CA/NV. Fish habitats were identified through a combination of IKONOS image classification results and field observations of fish-substrate relationships. The spatial extent of these data are constrained from the lake edge to a depth of <30m as defined by the USGS SHOALS dataset. Image classification was completed by Geovine Consulting under contract with the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency.
