Tahoe Regional Planning Agency 1976 Transportation Analysis Zone vector digital data withheld taz_297 Digitized from mylar maps created in 1976 and 1977 Transportation analysis zones (TAZ) data. Based on the previously used TAZ layer, the data topology was cleaned up to improve the alignment between zones, remove redundant zone overlays, and to fill in the gaps between the different zones.This layer includes some areas outside of the TRPA jurisdictional boundary.Edits were made during October of 2014. The purpose for these boundaries is to provide zones to analyze transportation needs and alternatives for the Lake Tahoe Region to meet the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency thresholds, as well as conform to local, state, and federal regulations. Updated for the Regional Transportation Plan planned for release in 2016.
