The public transit routes shown are fixed routes, services provided on a repetitive, fixed schedule along a specific route with vehicles stopping to pick up and deliver passengers to specific locations. Each fixed-route trip serves the same origins and destinations, such as rail and bus; unlike demand responsive and vanpool services. The agency ID corresponds to the General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) agency identifier, where 14 corresponds to the Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transit and 933 corresponds to the Tahoe Transit District. This layer is updated on an as needed basis, when transit routes change, and was last updated October 2022.
No warranty expressed or implied is made by the TRPA regarding the utility of the data, nor shall the act of distribution constitute any such warranty. Much of the TRPA GIS data is parcel based and therefore attribute data for such features are constantly changing. We recognize these errors and make an effort to correct them as they are discovered.
