Community Priority Zones are neighborhoods with higher densities of at least three of the following transportation disadvantaged populations: <\/SPAN><\/P> Persons without private transportation (zero vehicle (ZEV) households): <\/SPAN>Lack of a personal vehicle is a significant factor for transit need. <\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI> Elderly (individuals 65 years and older): <\/SPAN>Elderly individuals may choose not to drive or can no longer drive due to age. <\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI> Persons below poverty or median income levels: <\/SPAN>Purchasing and maintaining a personal vehicle might be difficult for low-income households. <\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI> Individuals with a disability: <\/SPAN>Disability status may impact an individual\u2019s ability to live independently, including driving a personal vehicle. <\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI> Minorities (Latinx/Hispanic, Black, Asian, American Indian, Pacific Islander, Other, Two or More Races): <\/SPAN>Minority populations are historically disproportionately impacted by transportation policies.
