Linear transportation features for the Lake Tahoe Basin derived from the August 2010 LiDAR collect. And summer 2010 WorldView-2 imagery. Features were extracted through an automated processes using a proprietary Object-Based Image Analysis (OBIA) system than manually reviewed and corrected at a scale of 1:1,200. The lines have both a Feature Type (FType) and a Surface Type (SType) code associated with them.
The Feature Types (FType) are:
1 = Road

3 = Trail

4 = Building

5 = Other

Note: FType = 2 (Driveways) is not used for this layer.
The surface types (SType) are:
1 = Hard

2= Soft

",
