In fact, &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN STYLE="font-style:italic;font-weight:bold;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Code Chapter 84, Development Standards Lakeward of High Water &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;uses the high water line as a way to define special shoreline development standard requirements. In addition, the high water line is used to outline special land coverage provisions (&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN STYLE="font-style:italic;font-weight:bold;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Code Chapter 30&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;, &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN STYLE="font-style:italic;font-weight:bold;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Land Coverage&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;); specifically the maximum land coverage allowed in non-sensitive land within a Center of a conforming area plan, located further than 300 feet from the &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;High Water Line&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;of Lake Tahoe is 70%. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Shoreline&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;, another crucial feature of Lake Tahoe, is defined as the highest line normally covered by waters of a lake or body of waters and for Lake Tahoe, the shoreline elevation is 6,229.1 feet. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</idAbs>
